Golf Brevard
Golf Brevard is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates The Habitat Golf Course in Malabar, FL and Spessard Holland Golf Course in Melbourne Beach, FL.
Founded in 2018 with the purpose of preserving public golf in Brevard County, Golf Brevard has transformed The Habitat and Spessard Holland into two of the best public golf courses along the Space Coast.
Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River, Spessard Holland was designed by legendary Palmer Enterprises and opened for play in 1977.
The course features sailboats, pelicans and dolphins along the inland waterway running the length of several holes to the west. From the east you face the challenges of the constant but unpredictable Atlantic Ocean breezes forcing you to use every club in the bag.

A challenge for players of all skill levels, The Habitat Golf Course is a Par 72, 18 Hole Course that stretches 6,802 yards through the beautiful nature preserve of Grant-Valkaria.
In close proximity to the Indian River Lagoon and Brevard County’s southern boundary, this championship golf course is a haven for wildlife and golfers. A sense of solitude prevails throughout the wetlands, pine forests, and rolling terrain—as the only backyard you’re in belongs to sandhill cranes, gopher tortoises, scrub-jays and other wildlife.
